The Village of Riverdale is governed by a Village President
(usually referred to as Mayor) and a 6-member Board of Trustees. The Board of
Trustees, Village President, and the Village Clerk are elected at-large on a
four year cycle. There are several departments that make up the Village of
Riverdale. These include; the Clerk’s and Administration Offices, the Fire
Department and Inspectional Services, the Police Department, and Public Works.
